Using the web demo
Choose one of the five characters, select Trace, and start at the numbered red dot. Drag with your mouse, finger or pen along the stroke. Watch order shows the complete sequence; Recall hides the outline so you can try writing from memory.
If a stroke is not accepted, check its starting point, ending point and direction. Undo removes your last accepted stroke. Clear starts the character again. The web demo uses a simple trace check; the app offers more detailed writing feedback.
Subscriptions and purchases
Manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings. To restore an existing purchase, use Restore Purchases on the app’s purchase screen while signed in to the Apple account used for the purchase.
Learning across devices
Use the same iCloud account on your iPhone and iPad and enable iCloud access for Hanzi Stroke. An internet connection is needed for sync; core learning content remains available offline.
