Your practice, your privacy.

This website
The writing demo runs in your browser. Your strokes are held temporarily in memory and are cleared when you change characters, reset the practice, or leave the page. We do not send handwriting to a server, require an account, set tracking cookies, or store practice history.
The website emits local interaction events for practice, downloads and App Store clicks. No analytics service receives these events in this version. The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver the website.
Downloads and external links
Downloading the worksheet does not require personal information. App Store links open Apple’s services, which operate under Apple’s privacy policy. If campaign links are configured, Apple can report aggregate campaign performance.
The Hanzi Stroke app
Learning progress and preferences are stored on your device. Learning records can sync through iCloud. Apple processes purchases; Hanzi Stroke does not receive your payment-card details.
The app does not require an account, display third-party advertising, use IDFA, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Photo and notification permissions are requested for the relevant features.
The app uses Mixpanel for limited pseudonymous product analytics, including app sessions, learning activity, paywall and purchase interactions, and approximate geographic information derived from IP addresses. It does not send the characters or words you study, handwriting, searches, photos, payment details, or transaction identifiers. It does not access precise GPS location.
The app’s current privacy policy is also available inside Hanzi Stroke.
